THE MINISTER'S LETTER
Rev Cleopas Sibanda is on Sabbatical until the end of August so there will be no letter from him until he is back in September. If you would like to write a message of encouragement to the congregation for our newsletter during this period, please send it to me and I will include it in the newsletter.

SATURDAY, 3RD SEPTEMBER @ 2.30 pm – District Welcome Service for Revd Dr Novette Headley, new District Chair at Coventry Central Hall
WEDNESDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER @ 7.30 pm – Welcome and Commissioning Service for Revd Cleopas Sibanda, Revd Farai Mapamula, as Circuit Superintendents and Ermine Mitchell, as Lay Pastor at Solihull Methodist Church. We will have the opportunity to welcome Revd Dr Novette Headley as our new District Chair and Preacher at the Circuit service.
GIFT DAY – If you have not yet made a gift to the work of our church it not too late. Letters and envelopes are available on the trolley inviting you to do so.
FOOD BANK AT COTTERIDGE – The basket for donated packets and tins is now kept at the back of the church.
CHURCH BROCHURES – Our new brochures are on the way to the printers and should be available soon.
FOYER ROOF – Work commenced 8th August and should take two weeks.
THANKS – Thanks for all the kind messages, cards and prayers received after my recent operation. I am missing being physically present and hoping to be back soon – Philip Osborn.
MISSION BOXES – Will holders of World Mission and Home Mission Boxes please hand them in for opening as soon as possible?
OFFERINGS – The average for the first eleven months of the year was £655 against our target of £673 per week.
BENEVOLENT FUND – The amount given in July was £24.
